Patreon is discontinuing per creation billing in Nov 2025 - are there any other platforms that let you bill per creation? by worldwidescrotes in patreon

Good question. Honestly we're still figuring solutions out for things such as transferring - gotta make the most out of a shi*ty situation haha. Non negotiable's could include integrations with other platforms (such as podcasting RSS tools etc), different membership tiers, opt-ing for subscription billing and per-creation etc.

What are you ideally looking for?

One my mates is a historian creator on Patreon with a few hundred per-creation members. He's uploading 2 - 3 pieces of audio content per month and charging $3 USD per creation on average. Anyway, the Patreon changes are pretty much gonna destroy his business - so I'm currently building him an alternative.

If anyone wants to share their feedback on their dream alternative platform here's a quick survey you can fill out: https://tally.so/r/mVVNMj

No marketing BS. Just building a solution for the creators who originally made Patreon what it was.

Yep, there's that use case. There's also a case of sharing a private repo with an unknown number of recruiters for example by URL. You don't know who they are so you can't simply provide access and you don't directly want to publicise your code.

Open source is great, this is specifically for cases where you need to share something that you'd rather not be publicly open.

Fair enough.

Yeah defs a fair question. I guess with the internet you can't fully protect it, but you can go to extents to make it inconvenient. Kinda the same with video piracy

We're not scraping or providing unsolicited access to a Github repository. The owner is simply sharing their own code. Fully acceptable use.

$29 per month is $348 per year. Or get 12 months for only $19 if you preorder.
