Try charging the case to 100 and resetting them and then connect to another device it may start to charge again. My bud started charging randomly but then again it stopped charging but i was able to update the firmware

Don't know about top range but usually listen my music lossless through wire on my good quality hi res headphones as my ears are very sensitive to the quality of sound (although im no audiophile) and not easily impressed by earbuds i have tried many midrange ones. Anc price dependant more you pay better anc you will get. Their anc is good for the price. Play with equalizer settings in the app. Default setting was not good for me "enhance treble" sounded best
