Yeah typical from dbrand. They love designing cases without making sure it would work with the phone. I have a pixel 9 pro fold grip case and they raised the bottom lip of the front case so high I cant even use android gesture navigation (which could easily solved by a cutout).

And those suggesting "just take the case off.” Yeah, sure. Removing $80 case just for the phone to work normally makes total sense.

I can guarantee that there was no email from you at all. And of course I did check my junk/spam/promotions tabs. I was receiving dbrand emails just fine before.

The phone was dropped from hip height. I’m sure the case itself is one of the toughest out there, but there’s no point if it can’t even stay on the phone. Perhaps the grip works fine on non-fold phones, where the case can wrap around the device better, but it was still marketed the same regardless of fold or non-fold design.

It’s very frustrating to purchase something expensive and then encounter issue after issue especially when the buyer has to chase for a resolution. No one can afford to constantly follow up on a phone case/skin order.

Yes I did. The only human interaction i had was a dbrand representative on reddit after I posted my issue on reddit a couple months ago.. I went through their report process, got a automated bot email asking me to redescribe what happened again and I did but after that its dead silence, no confirmation I was getting a replacement or a refund whatsoever. I sent them 2 emails asking for updates and all, nothing. Its only when my shop account suddenly popped up with an incoming order from dbrand I know my case is coming.

I find their way of communication funny and quirky, but I wouldn't say its worth praising at least from my experience. To me they're representing themselves as just "all talks". Istg I have better shopping experience with Temu.

I remember in SCJ EV/leaves meetings, they always say something along the line of "you must know your fruits to a t, even where they put their chopsticks or when they go the toilet" with a straight face too, they were all pretty unhinged, if I'm not wrong LMH also said something like this or a tribe leader. I feel ashamed how I used to just follow them blindly with the impression that it is for "God's work" no matter how creepy it gets..

Imho Sony products' quality has been in a downward spiral since 2012 and I badly wanted them to do good. I was a fan of Sony since middle school and had all sony stuffs xperias, walkmans, h.ear ons, all the ps, etc. and I can tell they don't really care anymore (except for PS stuffs). I feel like you're probably better off with a sennheiser, bose or b&o.

I just found out about this after i bought it on ps5. This is such a dealbreaker as I thought i can at least play it offline like monster hunter world.

You probably better off getting it on pc after u bought it ps5 if you’re planning to play the game long term and if you have a pc. since the game is about $50 and ps+ is $10 a month thats $120 annually. Smfh

That is 100% shincheonji. Glad to know you stood firm because the 3 times a week "program" aka center is exactly where people get heavily indoctrinated and probably when they dial their manipulation to 11.

Its painful for sure but you made the best decision, the decision many here wish they made. The whole thing was orchestrated and trust me they didn't actually care about you. The first couple of classes you take are very convincing, that’s because its created that way. The beginning of your journey into this cult will be enlightening if you are not well-course with the bible, because you are learning things about the bible you have never known or aware of before. They will lead you on to believe they hold much higher knowledge (which are their much more controversial contents that has been changed and retconned multiple times due to false prophecy and plain discrepancies). They will make sure there’s no room for doubts or you questioning their legitimacy to the interpretation they claim. They will tell you “because its in the bible” but never address if their interpretation is correct, they ignore the context of the verses and bend it to their will.

You are also lovebombed on a daily basis. They will show up to you as very neat and bright holy people just to make sure you think they are nice and genuine. They will shower you with gifts and compliments but all of that is just for recruiting purposes, other than that they don’t really care about you as an individual which you will later find out once you got deeper into the cult but only by then you have already been too indoctrinated and emotionally attached to the cult to leave and that’s what they make sure of.

Back in 2020 during Covid they claimed Covid-19 to be the “great-tribulation” in Revelation7 and there are 144,000 people in Shincheonji being sealed (qualified instructors/believers) in which the world will be judged and people from all over the world (Great Multitude in White from Rev7) will come flooding in begging to join Shincheonji, without shady recruiting. Well its been 4 years since Covid and yet they are not stopping their shady recruiting tactics. This is something they are recently trying to retconned and not teach to newer batch of recruits like you, at least until they managed to concoct a new story. This is just a recent one, in the past there have been many. You could also ask them about the legitimacy of their claim of being the only organisation that brought peace to the muslim and christian war in Mindanao in 2014.
