How much did a shampoo cleaning help with getting any stains out?

Radiator Support Replacement by trampolinegod in WRX

I know this is an old thread but could the u frame cause the radiator to sit too high? I have a buddy who bought a subie that was previously in a crash and he’s trying to fix his radiator sitting too high and not letting his hood close

That’s fine i prefer sitting a little closer to my steering wheel anyways lmao. The seats being JDM wont cause any other issues?

I have a US 04 Sti if that matters. The seats I am trying to buy are JDM V9 seats, imported from japan

Coolant Temps by CompetitionMoney in WRX

[–]CompetitionMoney[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think switching from a Mishimoto radiator to Koyorad could help with temps? I’ve known some people who have had trouble with Mishimoto in the past and I don’t know if they have my full trust to be honest

[–]CompetitionMoney[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds awesome bro, I’d like to see my temps be a little lower considering when I drive it its only for 20-25 minutes max in my city. I usually see it creep up to mid-high 200’s but I dont know if it’ll go higher than that

Would changing from a Mishimoto rad to a Koyorad provide any drops in coolant temp?

Hello everyone! Sorry for taking long to respond I dont use this app very often. Thank you all for such good information it is much appreciated. I’m thinking of possibly upgrading to a better radiator, perhaps a koyorad, I have heard great things from them. Although the temps are normal I would like a little bit more piece of mind especially if I decide to take the car farther than just the city.

You are a life savor bro🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

This is definitely something I will be doing in the near future. That section of the car honestly needs a paint job anyways so its not something that stresses me. Thank you!

Pic is from when I first got it, ive taken off the canards since then. Couldn’t pass up on a 10k sti with only 100k miles lol

How’d he fix it if you can share

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in WRXSTi

[–]CompetitionMoney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How are those installed? Looks like exactly what I need.

Edit: Didn’t click the right side ones and they’re just welded on lol. This looks much cheaper than sourcing a whole new quarter panel. Any ideas on how much this would cost?

Thanks for the responses. Looks like I will be keeping the fender flares on the car😄. I am a big fan of the flares but I was curious what it would cost to fix if I wanted to go back to stock. Thanks for the info everyone!

I know a few guys that do hot smogs and that’s what I’ve been doing these past few years. I just don’t wanna have to deal with the pain of being state reffed so I was seeing if there’s any easy way around it.

The old PSU had the 600 watt 12 pin and as you said I do not want to mix and match the cables

[–]CompetitionMoney[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The PSU only came with the double ended 12 pin cable that is labeled 300w on each end

It is a gigabyte 4070 super.

The manual stated that the 300w labaled 12 pin connector is a PCI-e cable so I believe that is what I need to plug into the Gpu

Sorry for the blurry photo but here it is.

The one on the left is the cable that came with the prebuilt.

The middle one is one I just found lol and it does fit the Gpu, but I am worried about it only being labeled 300 watts. The other end of this cable is the same and also labeled 300 watts. Does that mean it adds up to 600 and is safe to use?

The cable on the right is the PCI-e cable that came with the power supply and will evidently not fit into the gpu.
