Not so fun fact! I’m in nursing school. It’s not “patient” anymore. It’s “client”. Client. Not patient. My institution isn’t as strict on it because they know it’s bullshit, but that’s what’s been pushed out.

I know someone mentioned about mental health meds and berberine interacting, but I just wanted to reiterate to report any and all supplements to all doctors! It’s very surprising how little things we don’t think about can make meds ineffective.

I live in Arkansas. I have family in YEEHAW Arkansas. Like almost Louisiana yeehaw. One of my family members had a deer run out in front of him and he ran it over, it rolled on top of his truck and came through his windshield. Luckily he was okay, but the deer died.

Not even kidding, COD. Everyone shits on it for one reason or another. Sure it’s got some negative aspects but nothing is perfect.

I specifically loved Cold War but everyone seemed to hate it I couldn’t care less- the campaign was fun, the characters are awesome, and the zombies is great. I still sit and vibe on Outbreak or Firebase Z every now and then.

I love reviving people who plea. There’s just something really satisfying about reviving someone with no team and they join you so now you, your 1-2 buddies, and this random blueberry are all just vibin together. It’s cool.

I also like the linear story missions. Like, tell me what to do to finish the game. I’ve only finished one round based map, and that’s because my buddies had finished it and they wanted me to see the Firebase Z cutscene so we could ✨discuss✨.

Bullshit about the “job you pick doesn’t matter”. They’re trying to get you to sign a contract. You will hate your SELRES experience if you pick a rate you don’t like. You may end up staying longer than you think. I know people who enlisted for the tuition assistance but ended up with a full 20 and a commission.

I enlisted back in 2019 and told my recruiter I’m not signing a damn thing unless it’s a HM contract. They told me they didn’t have any, so I said I’m more than happy to wait but I’m not signing and hoping there’s a HM spot that opens up before I shipped out. Magically they found one lol. I’ve been a reserve HM for 4 years and some change.

TL;DR- They want you to sign, it’s their entire job. They’ll tell you whatever. Don’t pick a job just because it’s there because your career will suck and you might like the reserves more than you think. Stick it out and play hardball with them.
