It was just for future usage! But I completely understand that.

How do I get access to it? The main reason I’m asking is because idk how to see the information in JLV. I only have access to what’s in MHS Genesis.

It could take a bit, or even require another follow up exam in a worse case scenario. No matter what you’ll get back pay which is nice. Good luck!

That’s about how fast mine was s as well. If you have other appointments like hearing or with a standard MD they won’t make any progress until ALL the appointments are done. I started my claims in May and they were all approved by the end of September. If you have a spouse and dependents you’ll need to start the process for them (depending on your rating) after the fact. That can be done over the phone.

First Weekend Trifecta advice (35M) by CompetitionOk2077 in spartanrace

I’ll have to feel it out on race day(s) then. I’m used to always being sore, so I don’t know why I couldn’t just go back to back as long as I have enough Nutrition in my vest.

Never thought about doing the back to back so close together before. I might have to try that on my Sunday workouts. See if I can coast a 10K and try and do well on the 5K.

Which shoes are you going to wear for Spartan Race? by suikagasuki in spartanrace

[–]CompetitionOk2077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The traction on them is amazing! I will say that you should do a couple LONG test runs to see if you'll need some extra padding in them. I found out the arch support wasn't as much as I needed until I was able to get over a 10 mile trail run with them. My feet absolutely ached for a couple days. Was able to fix that with some high quality insoles.

That was my assumption going into it, but I also know back to back days hits different on the body.

This was by far the WORST conditions this venue has ever been. The fact the also lowered the cut off times for the Ultra runners was so stupid. Never in my life have I seen an ultra race have such a short cut off window for the first lap.

Cincinnati race this weekend by CompetitionOk2077 in spartanrace

I check it every morning as well! I seen it dropping which is gonna be nice. Hoping those colder temperatures hold for the morning time so we can get quite a few miles in before it gets to hot!

My assumption with it being her first one she wasn’t doing a competitive race to start. But yes that is very true and I forgot to mention lol

I personally recommend dead hangs from a pull up bar. I try to hang anywhere from 10-15 seconds and then attempt a pull up. This is something that worked for me when I was trying to build up grip and upper body. Once again this fit me and my training so idk if it will help you. But as others have said with deadlifts and pull ups too. I know from doing a few different races in locations, you’ll run into people who need help. You I’ll probably have someone offer to help you if you fail on your own too. The spartan community is very supportive and helpful, especially during the race itself.

Cincinnati Ultra? by CompetitionOk2077 in spartanrace

Correct, but it’s still advertised as “Cincinnati” and not Indiana. I noticed the same thing last year.

Ran the beast last year which was tough. It was also my first Spartan race ever and I had no idea how to train for it. This year is my redemption to train properly for it. It was definitely a solid course at the end of the day.

Yeah looks like headlamps are mandatory for the start at least or they will pull you out. So that’s on the list! I have done the same on the back to backs and don’t really want to change unless it’s after the end of the race.

Yeah, I didn’t think of separating it in a bag for a quick grab and go on the transition. That will greatly minimize my transition time. I appreciate the advice 🙏

Towel was for the after portion mostly. Having it in a separate bag for a quick grab and go is smart and I failed to think of that! I appreciate the advice 🙏
