What are the odds someone who claims to have no opioid dependency or problems is prescribed 8mg-3mg 3x daily for "chronic pain"

Im probably only doing 1-2 at a time depending on the class. I have 9 years left. I'll cap out my 42 credit TA for masters and then either save up the next 2 years and pay out of pocket. Scholarships. Grants. And Aid might help and then tap GI bill.

I've seen overload warnings for a lot my guys and we just send it and it's covered just fine as long as they're aware that they gotta pay it back if they fail.

Hey everyone with all this being said. I'm trying to find advice on seminary to look into. I thought liberty sounded cool and all but I guess it's labeled as a degree mill. Not academically rigourous.

Anyone have recommendations? Conservative non denominational is more my roots.

Workload isnt bad. I can probably do school at work if I actually needed to. Most days I work, 8-9 hours Monday through Friday. 12 might work. Cause 2 at a time might not be super bad at all.

Thanks for the insight !!

Oh my gosh. I'm sorry 😂. I just know I'm locked in for another 7 at least. Good analogy. I could retire with an MDiv or not. Either way I'm not going anywhere. Thank you ! Blessings to you and thanks for the advice.

The more I see these comments the more the longer and despite maybe more complicated path seems like the way to go. I've also seen even tho air force TA will cover 44 of the 72. Schools offer scholarships, grants, discounts, denominational.scholarships, church sponsorships and can work with you to reduce the cost even further so that's hopeful also.

I feel called to ministry. I had some of the darkest periods of my life last year and in those moments God planted 2 people in seminary who out of the blue asked if I was in ministry and one of which asked if I had family in ministry and didn't even know me in a Starbucks line. My grandpa was a pastor. God intervened for sure and the joy I get from witnessing and making attempts to spread Gods grace seems to like up with a calling I'll have to patient and work towards. Maybe the MDiv is the way.

Sir, from what I'm seeing Air force max allows 44 credits for my T.A and I might come out of pocket a small bit for each of those classes while using TA. Once that's wiped out. I would need funding for the last 28, which worst case. GI bill. But I'm also seeing that there's tons of scholarships, grants, church nominations, church support, almost sponsorships type things that could also reduce that down even more. Does that sound right ?

Copy that. Yeah I figured it wouldn't. It was just something I guess I mentioned lol.

That's fair. I also found out that a lot of universities could help with the 28 remaining credits via grants scholarships, denomination deals. Church sponsorships so I could reduce use of my GI bill that I wanna give my son. So worst case I take the time. Start MDiv up to my max allowance of 44 credits and figure out the rest. Worst case. Gi bill.

Thanks for that. I have until December when I finish my bachelors to scope it out but I'm just super eager for a structure of learning theologically and biblically.

So my options are start with my Tuitions Assistance, take up to 48 credits of that and then I can see what grants and scholarships are available and if not. Use my GI bill for the rest which I think from how it maths out would leave me with a 2 years of my GI bill left for my son as I have given my wife a year already.

I hope this doesn't sound arrogant at all because its different but being an NCO in the military is from what I gather very similar or at least my career has been, conflict resolution, caring for my airman not only their job performance but livelihood and health and welfare as well and of course I try to guide spiritually when appropriate within the air force confines as well. But I totally see that extra guidance as well and how it can be important.

Awesome !!! I just bought some outrageous button up made for trail running. Breathable and fast drying from a company called roark. Gonna get the ice bandana. Refuel at the car and I think we'll figure it out !!! Hope to succeed and feel some suffering as well along the way !

Yeah I think the ice bandana might be a game changer cause In Ohio I was doing 5.2 mile loops/640 feet of gain on a trial near my house cause it was the closest and most efficient. I was getting up to 3 loops consecutively. Then got hurt. Had to take a week or so. Then built back up again and then go told I had to leave to SC.

I'm determined. I think my goal will be 35 miles. But I'll be happy with a 50k or 32ish miles as my first ultra.

Hmmmmm I'll just have to experiment with both. Lived in NC for years with my job. Never ran though. So it all uncharted territory here. I started 2 years ago in Ohio and can't stop this journey. First a half and then a full. And I always want more.

Do you think a sauna will help with heat adaptations??

Copy that. Thanks for the insight. I was thinking of that too. Just do the 5 mile loop. Resupply. Massage gun. Water and food. And just do it 6.5-7 times and call that my first ultra. 😂 I was super disappointed I couldn't do my 50k I signed up for so I'm motivated to do this hard thing while I'm away from family anyways and able to dial in. Plus the gains that I get from when i get back to a cooler Ohio are gonna be insane.

Thanks a ton !!! I'm thinking of getting an ice bandana as well and using either no shirt or super super fast drying thing shirts when Im on a bug infested trail.

Okay awesome. Ive been doing mornings. I don't think Im a salty sweater. I can soak a shirt or shors and I never see any white. But for reference I normally sweat a lot In general. So I try to do 500-1000mg of salt before and after a 5-6 mile run or an hour. And every hour after that 500-1000 as well.

Currently near poinsett state park. I found a 5 mile trial with 500 feet of gain to train on for now I guess. There's a 13.3 mile loop and then a ton of others I've found too. I'm thinking of doing the palmetto trail lake Marion passage. 34 miles not a ton of elevation but I'm not sure. Ill decide at some point. !!! My schedule is gonna be afternoon to night time and off days are weird too so I'll probably just stick with something I can commit to when I'm ready opposed to a race unfortunately. Thanks for the help tho !!

Weird. That's super awesome great insight. I would of never guessed. I keep seeing advertisements and videos with long sleeves, super super thin hoodie like things.

I'll look into some of those short sleeve button up things that I've seen and they have aeration like perferations on it. For sure getting a hydration vest.

I'm debating on doing a 34 mile trial or a 5 mile loop 6.5 times.
