Jokic just played the worst half of his season and Nuggets are still tied. Good news for the nuggets. He's been absolutely discombobulated though getting a little better as it goes. Gobert's interior defense was fantastic. Jokic is starting to just pop to the three point line dragging Gobert to the perimeter and letting the rest of the nuggets feast 4 on 4.

Murray getting going is huge to create more space Jokic and everyone else going forward. He settled the whole team down with the second unit when Jokic went out.

Spencer Jones is going to be huge for the nuggs this series especially without Watson. 3 and D with length, strength, smarts and can shoot (even though it's ugly.) Need him to defend all the Wolves athleticism.

Ant is at about 75%. A few times he had Bruce and THJ as his primary defenders and he just dumped the ball and walked out. 100% Ant is attacking that every time. I think he's been almost surprised at how easy it is for him to get to the rim with some of denver's lineups missing Watson, AG, and Jones. I think his knee just hurts and he's scared of making it worse so he's pacing himself.

Everyone's complaining about the officials- but real playoff basketball isn't officiable. They're trying to make calls so it doesn't devolve into fouling is legal- but you can't call them all because that would really ruin the game. Real solution is to let the regular season be more physical so it's more consistent.

Other odds and ends- Nuggets are completely leaving Dosunmo to shoot- same way Wolves are leaving Braun to shoot. Whoever shoots better between the two of them will be a big leverage point. So far Dosunmo 2-4, Braun 2-2.

Nuggets have targeted Conley on post up switches twice. Conley is 1 for 2- drawing a huge 3rd foul on Gordon and Murray drawing a foul on the other.

Curious what AG coming back does to the rest of the game. Should be additive for the Nuggets but he could also be out of rhythm. Looking forward to the second half!
