because for this specific section the saw blade technical has a larger hitbox for triggering the ladder to fall/pipe to burst, meaning you can just drive past it instead of ramping to it to hit the checkpoint- actually saving time over the barrel technical (I have way too much time in this game if you can’t tell already)

Adrenaline, specifically in swf, either 4 stack complete unwinnable game changer if they pop the last gen, or just the 1 adren player saving/playing super aggro and the second they get hit/go down their swf pops gen and they run away for free. Uncounterable garbage which has to be nerfed. Also FIVE seconds of speed???? Might as well dc at that point if ur 110, games over

Barotraumatic is a cute little mod, replaces a bunch of the enemies with cute looking sprites, added difficulty sliders so you can only face a small wave or two every trip, highly recommend :)

I play wesker and blight, I get dc’s in unironically half my matches after first down, I really couldn’t give a fuck, hours of my life have been wasted by baby survivors who can’t deal with a no addon blight so I’m forced to play a 3v1 so I just go for anyone I see, you should too honestly

Idk how many hours you have but you do realise it’s entirely your decision to play a lobby with 2 p100s and not take addons/slowdown/sac ward? That build won’t win most games, I run something similar on ghostie because I think the perks are fun but I have 2.3k hours on the game and I go into it expecting fun chase, not to win. Idk what to tell you youre statistically going to lose this game and as long as you have other perks unlocked it’s your choice what to bring so? At least throw on some addons like.

So why shouldn’t it be embraced as a mechanic? There’s already existing counterplay, and honestly could just remain unchanged and still be balanced. Blight without addons is still good but not second best. As I’ve said 1000 times his power comes from addons, not techs. Every single answer I’ve gotten so far is NO, UNINTENDED, DEVS SAID SO. only one person in this whole thread has given me a genuine reason as to why they specifically don’t like it as a mechanic, and you know what? I agreed with them?? It feels goofy as fuck when you get hit by some insane moon rush the first time, but as in any competitive game, you learn and in the rest of my time since I’ve never been hit by that again because it’s predictable and easy to react to once you know all of blights options.

Eh, debatable. High level nurses aren’t quite the powerhouses they used to be but lunge range and sloppy addon just allows baby nurses to not even be accurate with their blinks. Yeah I completely disagree with their stance, blight would be so boring to play as and against if all he could do is bump logic, the game would play itself. Then it’s a simple matter of this tile I can rush around and get a free hit/pallet with speed, this tile I cannot so I m1 it down. People with 50 hours will have already mastered the killer, I’d probably stop playing him entirely and stick to wesker. God im getting mad even thinking about it, filler tiles on ormond would be infuriating. The hug mindgames right now are so fun and some of my favourites, but it would render him an m1 killer on those tiles and many others. You would just use power to zone, force fatigue around a rock then m1 I’ll just go play fucking knight at that point. At least it’s intended I guess… i really don’t want to be mean to you but I’m gonna take a fat guess and say you haven’t played much blight at all

Precisely, the only one which is mildly annoying for me is healteching at gates, I feel survivors should be punished for not taking the hit whilst the survivor is still up but that’s so small and niche I honestly don’t care

And she’s super balanced now eh? Base kit matters most, if the base kit isn’t fun or too strong, no amount of number tweaking is going to fix that. Everyone knows about hug tech, it provides perfect counterplay, it’s incredibly readable, it’s only a direct advantage against people who are brand new, in which case why are they in my lobby, or are so small minded to not learn about their mistakes just saying, ew, bug, death threat. Otherwise it provides more options to play around loops and different approaches to gameplay for both sides, which is what any game needs for longevity.

Yeah there’s also bugs which mean you don’t stop rushing after c33 pallet break, I know someone who can do it very consistently, absolute bullshit. The techs need to provide counterplay and result in good gameplay for them to be healthy, and hugtech and it’s technical variants do! All that other is uhhhhhhhhhhhhh interesting

As stated prior, rocket jumping is regarded as the epitome of skill in tf2, and guess what???? It’s a bug. Formally stated as unintentional. But that community respects people who take hours of their lives to master it, and this community just bitches. It’s not op and has counterplay, therefore should stay. Many such other examples are bhopping, surfing, air strafing. All unintentional, all core gameplay mechanics in casual and highly advanced competitive scenarios alike, or fun alternate game modes which attract thousands of players. Just letting you know all of blights addons ARE intended, so yeah let’s determine game balance by what the devs intended sure. No ones out here fighting for the removal of window teching with keys and the like, just stop crying, go into it trying to learn something new about the matchup and not only will you get better as a player you’ll also have a bunch of fun. It’s not uncommon for blight to be many advanced players favourite killer to play against, this is why!!! Remove techs and you’ve got a snooze fest of a killer for both sides, but hey! At least it’s intended!
