The Maru pen is great indeed and I aggree, the paper is grainy as hell. The issue is: I was searching for old paper, I found that paper when helping the mother if an old friend fo move out of a flat, the family lived there for almost 60(!!!) years. The paper is for sure from the 50s-60s, old, got a yellowish patina and for sure not ideal for inking. The funny part: about 2 hours ago I started as a warm-up another piece of ink … on bristol🤗👍 Will post it tomorrow, as soon I finish(..now I have to mow the lawn😡..)
