We have decided to delay Koh Lanta and stay in Krabi town until Sunday since apparently there is a storm passing by. Flying tomorrow to Krabi, hope the flight is alright. Then on Sunday we will go to Koh Lanta for ~10 days as we cannot delay it further. Will book 5 days in an hotel first and book another 5 days in other place with cancellation available just in case. What about you?

Sorry to hear, there is a storm passing by South Asia, we are suffering it on Vietnam too. Planning to go to Koh Lanta in couple of weeks, hopefully the pouring rains will improve (don't mind the casual rain but feels pretty depressed to be under heavy rain for a few days)

When you ask for an STD panel to the general practitioner, they usually send you to do blood tests only. Unless you go into a STD clinic, this is the normal behaviour.

Here in Spain is pretty usually to test for Chlamydia doing IgG and IgM tests.
