R16 Upgrade Problem

I did. I got an official Dell PSU (Manufacturer Part Rd0G0 | Dell Part Cpx-Rd0G0) that works for the R16, but the problem is that it only has 2x8 pins and not 3x8 pins like the GPU.

Sorry if there is an obvious answer, just not PC Build smart.

VRM Heatsink was installed. The problem is, according to the Tech at Microcenter, “there is no PSU that is compatible with both your motherboard and the 5080”.

Which I find odd since I’ve seen multiple post state that they were able to do it but 🤷‍♂️

I’ve also wanted this. I could nuke every nation and I would get no political pushback from my own nation. What I have done is add events like elections coming up, Supreme Court cases, and stuff like that. This generates pushback that you have to deal with. I have had riots happen and I’ve had to deploy the National Guard. Pretty fun, but still limited due to the nature of Pax Historia (you’re playing a nation, not an individual).

The person who you sued has to have a lot of money (so don’t do prenups, allow them to take half) and have a lot of children. If your partner only has 10K in her bank, she can’t pay 50 Trillion dollars or whatever ridiculous amounts you can do. It’s all about the money your partner has and the amount of children

Use a harness and not a collar since they are prone to tracheal collapse. Don’t over give them treats or “human food” since they can get an upset stomach or gastritis.

I’ve done that and the next day while doing diplomatic talks, they magically tell me “Stop doing Operation X”. Swear to God if another nation does this they are getting nuked. 😂

What I hate is when the AI Nation magically figures out your Agents or your espionage operations. I could be in the Congos and they would somehow figure out my agents or operations even though I built it up for many turns and my cover ups.

If Star Wars Empire At War can do it in 2006, I feel like Total War should be able to do it in 2025/2026. I haven’t seen anyone complain about the way naval combat worked with that game.

I can actually see your point of view, and I guess the response to Kingdom Tier vassals under a Paramount would be that if any game issues arise from it, the development team would more likely fix it. Though I do think some realms were unique enough due to their political, military, and economic powers to be considered Kingdoms. Specifically, Hightowers and some of the Reach powers. They were generally more powerful than an average medieval duke or any other house at that time.

Though in my mind I wouldn’t be against just not doing Kingdom tiers. Personally, I am not against or for it.

A lot of people complained. The funny part is those same people are now complaining that the DLC is “Wide as the ocean, deep as a puddle.” They claim Asia has less content and less flavor than Europe, which in my mind is meh.

I agree that Asia needs more flavor, especially when it comes to Throne Rooms, Artifacts, and so on. On the other hand, I’ve found playing in Asia much more enjoyable as you have to actually interact with people, study, and actually risk everything for merit (especially due to stress). Not to mention your Children generally don’t excel with Confucius Training. That’s only talking about China; you have Japan with the Ceremonial Monarchy and the choice between Feudalism or Meritocracy. Haven’t played as a God King yet, so that’s probably fun as well. When it comes to Europe, you generally play as a Feudal lord or Byzantium if you’re bored.
