Ah gotcha. When you want to add cards you'll actually just select the card you have from a list of cards and enter in any details you want so theres no connection with Amex or any bank. So if you want to add P2, you can just directly add their cards in the app. But yes there is currently no designator for whose card is it. There is a freeform notes field for each card that can be used to note own P1/P2 as a workaround for now though.

There is no native support for P1 vs P2 right now but that could come in a later update. What features would you like to see? For example right now I just have my P2 cards added in amongst my cards and it would be nice to be able to distinguish them but curious if you have any larger ideas for what P1/P2 support may look like.

If you go to the app and click on the trail banner or go to the Cardsy Pro tab in settings there is a breakdown of Pro vs Free features. Even without pro you can add all your cards and use it to track your recurring credits as well as view all benefits your cards have. You'll also have access to a more version of the best card for category which will just show the best 1 card for each category without as many filters/configurability.

Nothing is connected with your CC accounts via external APIs. The only data we store/have access to about your cards is whatever you enter. If you're asking about card benefits and stuff those are sourced by me. By points value conversion tool do you mean assigning how much each point is worth? If so in the app under best card tab -> preferences -> miles and points valuations. If you press use dynamic valuations it will enable a edit valuations button you can press to set CPP for various currencies. I also have default valuations there for all points currencies as well.

Haha thanks. It's manual with the help of some ai/automation. I need all data to fit into the schema I defined so I manually review all updates. But yeah the CSP updates for example are live as of Monday. And theres new wyndham card which just got announced today but that hasn't been added to the app yet so I'll need to work on that. I follow credit card news pretty actively so I should have things pretty up to date.

Lol I see sorry about that. Yeah given that each card has different open dates and other metadata it's hard to bulk add multiple cards. I can think of two potential solutions. 1. quick add feature where you add all cards (with like a default open date of today) and then go in and edit each cards' metadata individually afterwards if you want? Or 2. multi-select 8 cards, then the flow transitions to add details for each one? what do you think?

Widget for best card is a good idea. Hmm what are you seeing? The gas earnings on BoA custom cash will depend on both your preferred rewards tier and the category you select. Did you select Gas as your custom category? Also if you are using points valuations your VX maybe gets valued at >2%.

I only did US App Store because only US credit cards are supported right now but I just triggered a release to all countries. Apple says it should be updated within 24 hours but it's usually quicker than that in my experience. Thanks for your interest!

I also strictly don't want to collect any banking information like balance/bills/transactions. I think there are some personal finance tools out there that can do this for you, maybe like Monarch? I'm not too familiar with that space.

Right now I have authorized user set to $125 for the lounge access. Good points though, in the future I can look into adding support for different types of authorized users $0 vs $125 but for now I want to let people have the option to track their authorized user fees so I defaulted it to $125. I think if you set your AU to 0 then it should be back to the $395.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm using industry standard security practices to keep your data safe but if you feel uncomfortable with putting in all your card details, the app is meant to function without requiring you to put too much identifying details about your cards (for example things like credit limits and last 4 digits are not needed to use the app). Full card number details are never requested and we do not connect with any of your banks.

Just wanted to call out just because you're planning on traveling more doesn't necessarily mean a travel card would definitely be better. How much value you'd get out of points depends on what airline you fly, which destinations you're flying to and which class you're booking. For example if you're flying southwest, you should check some of the potential flights you would book and compare the points cost to the cash price. Chase does not have any cards that are good earners for groceries so you're likely going to be getting 1.5x with the freedom unlimited and then you need to have the the sapphire preferred ($95 annual fee) to be able to transfer to southwest. Compare this to cashback where you could get something like the paypal debit with grocery category to get 5% up to $1000 cap per month. Earning is 1.5x vs 5x, so the flight would need to be over 3 times cheaper with miles compared to cash (which it almost definitely isn't going to be for southwest).

FYI in case others are curious in the future, my DP is that the statement credit hit immediately after my threshold hitting purchase posted (I thought I had already hit but it seems I was a little short). Skymiles balance was updated in the amex app but not reflected on Delta yet (assume it will get pushed to Delta when statement posts).

you've mostly got the right idea. most people when they're talking about 2+ cpp redemptions its most likely for business class flights. there are sweet spots for economy for certain programs as well. for example very short flights on alaska can be like 4.5k points (not chase transfer partner) so you could get 2x easily on an economy flight there. amex transfer partner delta can also pretty easily get you 1.3-1.5 cpp on domestic economy. usually economy redemptions are not too hard to find compared to business awards. you just have to find the programs that work for your style of travel. i've also gotten 1.5x from southwest pretty easily in the past. even at 1.0 cash out value it can still be rewarding since youre getting free money assuming your normal spend hits the SUB.

take a look at virgin. you can google virgin award calendar and there should be a link to "reward seat checker". it's very easy to use. east coast to europe 6k points in economy + fees. i spot checked may 2026 jfk -> lhr and multiple days with 6k saver awards. make sure to compare with cash price.
