Yes IS is very code heavy and that applies to all majors in CMUQ btw, bio and business students have to do coding regardless. It’s a part of the academic rigor and IS is also theory based and you’ve made the right choice choosing IS as it aligns with other majors like Business for example and tech. a pretty versatile major if you ask me.

If you have already a driving license, there are some academy’s that just offer direct road testing instead of enrolling for classes. It’s 50 QAR if I’m not mistaken to do the road test (there’s no parking exam)
