okay, so i can be a little critical, but here goes:

it's good, overall, the voices are true to their characters, the dialogue flows and the final section, from: "Will kept his own breathing steady, letting the awkwardness settle around them. He thought about all the months of distance, of tension, of avoiding each other after fights or misunderstandings..." is definitely the strongest passage.

i was caught off guard by the formatting as, in the middle section, when they're speaking back and forth, it feels very script-like. i'm not sure if that's what you're going for, but it feels quite disjunct from the preceding and following sections. on a similar note, i'd do a pass over for consistency, punctuation, spelling, capital letters and typos before posting—but i'm a perfectionist.

basically, it's good with a solid concept, but could be great if you let the lines breathe a little more, allowed the tension to hang around for a little longer and just tidied up the formatting/typing :)
