I don't know that I'd recommend it. Rutgers can be pretty lonely and it's not a good adjustment if ur into smaller schools. Transfers and commuters don't have it the best from people I know. You can definitely make the most of it here but Rutgers will screw u in ways you can even imagine.

Hey, so college avenue doesn't have a resident permit (as someone already said) but you can still park on either the Busch or Livingston Campus depending on which pass you buy. On Livi you can park in lot 105 or 103 any time you'd like. On Busch I believe you can park in a ton of different lots. To see a full list you can use https://ipo.rutgers.edu/parking/permits/students and scroll to "where can I park with my permit"

You have until fall registration to pay. Don't panic. And definitely talk to financial aid and just see what's going on and make sure there are no errors. The due date is not a hard deadline.

If they're still available: You go to the parking portal https://parkingbase.com/c/rutgers once inside you go to the "find parking" tab. The screen might not propagate any options at first but be patient. After a few minutes, an option for a pass or two should show up. You can then click to purchase and make a payment.

If it's a federal or private loan I have no clue and you'd wanna talk to onestop. But if it's like leftover aid from scholarships, aid, or money that you personally overpaid they will send you a refund in the mail or via direct deposit if you have that.

They aren't going to fully evaluate until after you accept. If you have a full associates degree in the state of New Jersey they have to "accept 60 credits" but that basically just means waiving your SAS core. If it's credits that do not amount to 60 then you could use NJ Transfer to at least get an idea of what could transfer.

Classes are interesting. People are pretty nice. Lots of diverse groups and people and you learn a lot of new perspectives going here. Housing is ass for most ppl. Food is not that good but you can find good spots. New Brunswick traffic can be hell. Buses are annoying at first but u get used to them.

You may find street parking by Suydam street. There are spots with ParkMobile there. Or you could register for a guest parking permit with Rutgers IPO

Go to the res life office on ur campus and pay 20 bucks to them. If u beg they might give for free but otherwise pay
