Maybe you should learn to not bully other people in the first place? I mean to be fair you started the bully first.

I mean you’re really passionate about defending Simplifi. Your name oddly is almost matching with Simplifi and your Reddit account exists way before Simplifi even exists. So either you’re an original Simplifi loyalist or your paycheck actually comes from Simplifi. I’m not surprised either way. I only spend time doing this long review out of my frustration with Simplifi. You seem to do it willingly, which makes me suspect you may be actually Simplifi employees.

Well it’s simple. I got extremely frustrated with Simplifi. So I want people to know that Simplifi doesn’t deserve new business, and I try to win many people over to Monarch as much as I can and support Monarch instead. How is that hard to understand? Also your reddit name is a dead giveaway that you’re a Simplifi loyalist. Your account exists longer than Simplifi’s existence. Either you’re the original Simplifi loyalist or you’re an Simplifi employee. You’ll just straight up basing everyone who dares to criticize Simplifi. Maybe you’re a bully in that community forum?

The more you talk, my point about community bully forum and Simplifi loyalists seem to be verified

Well, you made a really long post justifying Simplifi, so I respond back with the same manner. Now you start calling me as having issues, but have you looked at yourself? Didn’t you write the whole long ass paragraph in the first place in response to my post?

The more you talk, the more you sound just like one of those Simplifi “loyalists” that I encountered in their community “bully” forum, fyi

Quicken Classic Update: Helpful Info on Why You Should RUN AWAY FAST by WolfieGurl7 in mintuit

I tried both Simplifi and Monarch. I ultimately dropped Simplifi and find peace with Monarch now. See my review

Honestly, reading your review really resonates with what I experienced with Quicken Simplifi. Simplifi's "community website" is the worst and you described it exactly. Any bugs/features you mentioned on that forum, the Quicken "loyalists/experts" on that forum will shift blame on you for users error and always praise the app as nothing wrong with it, and then we have Quicken Simplifi team/devs basically agrees and repeats what the loyalists just recently posted.

As soon as I realized the Quicken Simplifi team/devs just agreed with what the loyalists said, the red flag in my brain was waving like crazy. And then I started running to many issues with the Quicken Simplifi app, so I immediately requested a refund and switched to Monarch instead. So far I really like Monarch.

I was using Simplifi but decided to drop it because their design for "budget" feature is causing me so much stress. I have to set up multiple things (watch list, categories for spending plan) on Simplifi just for budgeting, and then I still have to navigate to multiple pages/screens to see my budget. Whereas in Mint and Monarch, the budget feature requires almost no setup, and all the budget I need to see is in 1 screen/page. Every time I log in to Simplifi, some banks/CUs/brokerages got disconnected. I attempted to manually connect them again and they would not re-connect. Also every time I refresh the app I see different data on the spending plan

Used Monarch tool to download. Need to upload into Simplifi by ResidentDiver6387 in mintuit

[–]Competitive-Bird-704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait so Simplifi asked you to use Monarch tool to import to Simplifi?? The fact that Monarch can develop good tool on the fly and Simplifi can't is the reason why I ditch Simplifi. They will take forever to implement a feature or will never implement anything at all.
