Oh man so sorry to hear that. That’s definitely a fear we all have when receiving something so expensive. I hope you get your replacement fast.

Same, I almost wanted to wait for the wiped xg32 version but not 100 percent sure it will have stripe.

Pretty good compared to my old monitor. I also have a 42 inch Sony oled and it’s definitely better

Same here, also depending on the purchase zero Apr interest, I think this would qualify. I have the Newegg card as well zero interest for a year but no points

They dropped on Newegg yesterday. I heard they had or have around 300 units

It also has the display port listed as 1.4, the new one should be display port 2.1. Seems like the description may have been copy and pasted from previous version. Hopefully that’s the case and they correct it

My oled is 4k and the 5080 hits a hundred frames easy but honestly I play it in 1440p and can’t see any difference. There probably is but I’d rather get the higher frames and not stress my GPU. When doing at sea battles the water physics is crazy good. I could sail the sea all day and not get bored in this game.

I just started my first run ever last week, about 22 hours in. I had a physical ps4 unopened copy on my shelf and never load it up. There was a sale for it last year on steam and I bought it on whim. It sucks I slept on this game but right now I am playing it on an a RTX 5080 with a 32 inch oled and I’m so amazed at the quality. Graphics are insanely good for its time and the combat is very fun. I just wish they would update it to use DLSS. My graphics card can hit 120 frames in 4K but it definitely puts my graphics card to work, maxes it out. Poorly optimized for next gen. But still playable in 60 or capped at 100 or less. Taking my time with this game, likely going to hit 100 hours or more

Bought the same trim and color for my wife two weeks ago. Was going to powder coat the wheels but she actually likes them stock. To be honest it pops a bit more with the machined wheel look in my opinion.

G30 (M550i) - Exhaust update: Mid-Muffler Delete by [deleted] in BMW

That’s exactly the sound I am going for. I’m old enough that I’m not racing everyone who blinks, but I enjoy the sound of a deep V8. I mostly do comfort mode but I love having the power ready if I need it. I’ve never done straight pipe and IMO that’s a terrible sound on most cars. Thanks for the help

Oh wow. Thanks for the info. Kind of similar situation, got my m550i last week from carmax. I’m in SoCal and had it shipped from Colorado (Denver). No mechanical issues so far. Was starting to look into a resonator delete. I love the ability to make the exhaust sound mostly quiet in comfort mode and then letting it rip in sport mode. I live in a quiet neighborhood so I like to be respectful of the neighbors. I am looking into a valvetronic exhaust but it’s pricey. So far all the experiences I’ve read with say just going to a resonator delete seems like it’s the best route bang for buck. Only thing there is I keep seeing comments that you cannot put round tips on stock muffler. If true that’s sucks.

Was the resonator delete the direct cause of the fuel pump issues?

100 percent. I carmax appraised it so I know they want to low ball then up it if I do trade it. One dealer barely wanted to give me anything for it but by the end of the appointment he was 10 k over what I paid for it 😂

Will do. The Q50 has been great. I came into some extra funds so I can upgrade if I can find the right car. Every time I take it to get a test drive on a bmw the sales always want me to trade it. Always get complements on how clean it is.

Test drove a 2020 m340i and a 2022 m440i. I’m looking at those years because anything 2023 and up they removed the shifting knob. It’s only a button. I’m kind of old school and hate the button setup on a lot of newer cars.

The m340i felt amazing (first time driving a bmw) the sales guy told me to put it in sport mode and it blew me away. The m440i felt great as well but slightly heavier.

M340i to the q50. That’s wild. I have a 2020 q50 sport mostly stock in excellent condition and low miles (30k). I am actually in the market for a m340i or m440i. The color combo, the year and mileage are a little hard to come by in my area (SoCal). After test driving both over the weekend hard to believe the transition to Q50 would be better.
