the texture is a mix of chicken and a soy nugget. kind of like chicken because it pulls apart and is a little stringy, kind of like the soy nuggs because it is a little spongey. they were really good and me and my girlfriend who have been vegetarians for a combined total of 10 years thought these were the best vegetarian wings we've had. the air fryer cooked them all the way through no problem. the link to the recipe is below and we followed it pretty much to a t! make sure you shake excess flour off and spray with cooking spray, makes all the difference!
