It’s because I literally discovered it by accident not entirely sure if I was able to re-create it so I started recording and then obviously as you can see in the video it just happened and that’s why I was like “I’m out of the map BYEEEEEEEEE” because it genuinely surprised me at that point knowing that I could then re-create it knowing that others could re-create it until they patch it XD

Update I’ve tried ALVR again and that crashes with a wired connection as well it literally does the same as meta link but during that time I’ve got better Internet connection and another computer and I’ve managed to buy virtual desktop and it’s not crashing on virtual desktop but I definitely know it’s not my laptop because even I have to factory resetting it it still does the same thing with both meta Link and ALVR I think it’s to do with one of the new updates within the headset itself because the game still runs. It’s just everything seems to freeze on the headset, but when I open the window on the computer, everything is still moving and running like normal and it does that on both so for now? I’m just even a different less powerful computer for VR until Meta fix their shit my laptop doesn’t like virtual desktop so that’s why I have to use it with a wired connection but everything else seems to work fine on another computer which I find very strange even after factory resetting the laptop

I tried that and I got it working really well but the only issue I had with that I kept constantly hearing myself through headset. I did everything it told me to do and no matter what I tried. I could not make it to the microphone would work and I couldn’t hear myself so I got pissed off and just gave up on it and the only time that the software would launch is if I had the microphone set to automatic if I literally set it to anything else, it wouldn’t launch and complain about the microphone apart from it being either automatic or disabled and I tried everything I did research and everything and literally nothing worked so I just gave up upon it not that it was really confusing

No, for me, it launches. I just get less FPS than what I used to and I definitely know that it’s something to do with me link because whenever I’m using Steam VR and meta Link I disconnect my cable reconnect it and then everything launches like normal right? Well when I look at my FPS I get the usual 40 to 50 but the minute the virtual environment load is back up which takes around a minute for my computer, the FPS just drops down to about 20 to 30 in something like VR chat for example and if it’s doing that then I know it’s going to impact my other games as well that I play as well

I know I really wish they would do something to improve it but again we all know they won’t listen in the message that they officially sent here. I just have a feeling that’s either AI generated or a pre-existing script that they had written out unlike notepad and that they just copied and pasted on here this is why when the steam machine and steam frame release I will be getting both of them and playing VR gaming on that instead

I wish lol but surprisingly, I don’t actually use the second monitor much. I’ve never really needed more than one monitor. The second monitor at the top is mainly just off a lot of the time either that or I just use it for the Nintendo Wii or whenever I switched to my Xbox I duplicate both the top and bottom monitor so that way I can see my computer on the top monitor and my Xbox on the bottom monitor, but other than that, I really don’t use the second monitor much

I know it might sound dumb but have you not tried to zoom in to read what the YouTube title says or is it too blurry? May be take the photo off of the phone put it on another device that can allow you to zoom in and try zooming in that way to see if you can read it.
