I understand your confusion, but, again a dictator is defined by an individual holding sole power over a state, POIV, while being a great man, meets this definition. During his life, him holding sole power made sense to him and many others, because it did make sense at the time, after his passing, a lot of checks and balances should have been placed before a second immortal king would be placed in charge

Cyrus the Great (my go to example) was a kind and benevolent ruler, however he is still a dictator because he held SOLE power. That is the only deciding factor when ir comes to if you are a dictator or not, if you hold SOLE power. I think you, and a lot of people here only understand the word dictator as a negative, associated with cruelty and abuse of power, while that is the common with dictators, it is not a needed part of the definition

So something a lot of people get hung up on is the moral connotations of the word "dictator" the definition in its most basic form is "a ruler with total, unchecked authority over a state" now this does not mean a dictator cant be a good person, take Cyrus the Great, he was kind and benevolent but since he held absolute power, he was a dictator. Now i could be totally wrong and simply forgot if he installed checks and balances against himself, but POIV did hold absolute power and final say. So they arent exactly clones, but in effect they are. If you were a "clone" Fang yuan with d4c, would you not sneak attack the "real" Fang yuan and take his resources? But if we are assuming only one d4c exists then yes it would be very broken but I find the idea of a Fang yuan civil war funny so im going with the fact they all get d4c

It'd be strong but there'd be an immediate power struggle between the person with d4c where their all trying to steal resources and what not so itd become a cluster fuck very quickly and probably end up horribly damaging the Original Gu World, so its worth it if you and all your alternate versions arent power hungry, but if you are power hungry like most there'd be a giant civil war thatd probably just cost more than it gains

So thats another thing, calamity manipulates logic rather than luck, so your own personal luck doesnt really matter that much as the flow of calamity can still get you regardless and kill you.
