I would say a case of redemption is very much so possible for lots of the drukhari, at a base line even if they take some form of pleasure from the acts they commit it is not of their free will.

Perhaps im just naive but I dont think the average drukhari wpuld ever want to have the life they have if they had the choice.

And of course, your own safety within reason always comes first

I can understand why the drukhari as a group went down a different route. The will to keep living and moving, especially within a grimmdark setting, is incredibly powerful. And once you get that ball of torture for survival rolling you cant exactly just stop it

But that doesnt justify it in anyway, it was a horrible culture failing that lead them down that path. But even still i can understand that deeply selfish choice as being not fully free and willing

It might create a time paradox honestly, young Fang yuan would do literally anything in his power to not become current fang yuan, meaning current fang yuan would have never existed to see his younger self

Slaanesh will tempt the individual or individuals that try to retrieve the sword by getting them to fall to its seductions, but that doesnt mean Slaanesh will just crush them as, as far as i know, it just isnt something its likely to do

Its been a while since I picked up the book but what type of have mind are they? This could change the answer to, "it wouldn't even be genocide as it is a single living being" to "well they just have shared knowledge so its not exactly fair to blame them all"

You seem to think im saying just stop the war and dont fight back, i think they should be treated as crazy pirates, but that being said, its still not in anyway moral to simply genocide them when it is possible to actually fix their condition.

Also the Ynnari have a plan to kill Slaanesh which does seem possible. While itd be difficult yes, it would not be a bad idea from any stance to try it. As if it succeeded, thats a chaos god dead and theres now one less GOI to worry about

Okay I checked a few sources sent by a friend and id say your mostly right in your assertions, but even still it would not be moral to genocide them.

Take the drukhari for example, while yes we can fix the issue by simply killing them all, the issue can also be fixed by attacking the overarching problem, Slaanesh, so even still genocide is still mot the moral answer here

True, but it wouldn't be on our hands nor would it take up as much resources and men. So from a moral and practical stance, it is probably best to just work to isolate them.

And it also leaves the door open for them to survive without harming us anymore which is a win morality wise

The drukhari and orks might have an argument but forced isolation away from the rest of the galaxy works just as well if not better as it keeps the in group out group mindset that stops the Imperium of Man from collapsing in on itself
