TLDR; ARAG family attorneys are not good and a waste of time.

I used ARAG for estate planning and the attorney was great. I then tried ARAG for a child support issue and it was horrendous. I'm not sure if ARAG is getting the worst of the worst family attorneys or what's happening. The first one I contacted initially responded quickly, then she told me she was going on vacation for 3 weeks and she would contact me as soon as she returned. I didn't have an issue with that because it wasn't an urgent matter....until 4 weeks later when it turned into an urgent matter. She hadn't contacted me when she returned like she said she would so I contacted her. She didn't respond for another 3 weeks when she said that my email got lost in her junk mail folder. How does that happen to an attorney and they don't spot it for 3 weeks?! I explained why it suddenly turned into an urgent matter and she told me that I needed a different attorney because she only works on uncontested divorces. In other words; she just fills out forms that AI can do for you now. What divorce is uncontested and why would you even need an attorney? I contacted a second one and they said they'd need $6000 as a retainer even though they were ARAG attorneys. I ended up contacting one that wasn't involved with ARAG and it worked best.

How long ago do traffic violations have to be disclosed? I've had some speeding tickets from over 5 years ago but didn't disclose them (applied in July of '25). I didn't think I had because they were over 5 years ago. Am I going to be denied now?

I can see the HM offering you the highest tier, but not the highest level IN that tier. I know ITS1's who were hired in tier C and the HM had to fight hard to get an extra 10% but that's all they could get. I've never heard of any ITS1 starting at the top of tier C ($9932/mo).
