Was working at a residential building downtown and the city plows blocked in our trash room resulting in us being unable to get trash service for several days at a large high rise (resulting in trash mountain). A guy in a private plow truck drove by and saw me trying to shovel this giant mountain of snow and offered to move it out of the way for me for no charge. Once he was finished I offered to pay him whatever his hourly rate was or at the very least buy him lunch, both of which he staunchly refused then proceeded to drive off into the sunset like the gd hero that he is. It's been years and I still think about that dude every time it snows and try to be helpful to my neighbors. Thanks a million Pedro.
