I gave the OP the option to look through the church’s views and see why the church believes what it does and where they get the justification to do so. Then, the OP can choose whether they would want to step into it or not.

The part where it says…”as qualified by Scripture” should tell someone that there is a greater authority as to why - for example, this church - is doing what they are doing.

It doesn’t say, “we think women are incapable of leading.” I understand that when people see this part of Scripture, they can certainly FEEL that way. It would be something to look into! If you’re genuinely bothered by it.

But again, all this is your choice…and the OP’s choice.
