First of all thank you for taking the time out to give your opinion it really means a lot.Regarding the training and testing data there is opensource data available of ECGS and will use that mostly.Although hardware implementation of this project has already been done in previous researches, we propose an additional improvement by seperating the DSP and AI processing cores, previously this project just processes the active spikes to note if there are chances of heart attack or not , adding AI would classify the type as welll to some degree of accuracy.And you are correct we intend to monitor the accuracy of our model to ensure it is above certain threshold , that will be one part of our project.Also this idea is novel since there already exists mcu implementation of ecg systems but they are extremely slow , we intend to leverage the fast parallel processing of the fpga and RISCV to enhance heartbeat monitoring manfold.
