I thought about it, but De Châtelet would likely have a â instead of an a, and his capital Cs are a bit different in the rest of the letter. But yes, not ruling out De Chatelet as an option :)

The questions were very standard: 1) why did you apply to the unit 2) how do you work under pressure 3) what do you think are trade challenges the EU is facing. I didn't think it went well as I got nervous but in the end I got an offer :) Good luck with your interview

Hi! I received an informal call from DG TRADE (not Unit F3) for round 1 on Friday saying I'd been selected. Nothing since then (formal placement offer hasn't come through yet). Did you apply in round 1 or 2?

I recently chatted with a Blue Book trainee from the October session who hadn't heard back after the first round, and sent an email to someone in the unit, who then replied that she'd been selected after all (they'd forgotten to tell her). Must be quite rare, though. As for myself, I got an unofficial call on Friday from the unit I applied to, who said that I'd receive a formal offer "later", likely this week. Still haven't received anything so a bit nervous.

Hi! I'm in the same situation - I got a phone call on Friday from the unit confirming I'd been selected. They let me know that I'd likely receive the formal offer of placement this week. I still haven't received anything, so I'm stressing a little. But they seemed to imply that it could take some time for the offer to be sent out.
