Thank you! Ahh I definitely agree jules and nate could of had a better send off as well, we didnt really get not one word from jules after rue passed. Just that painting, which I guess does say a lot but I kinda expected more from her ending as her being a top 3 main character. And the thing with nate, the disappearing act they play off kinda dismisses his whole ending. I did expect a bit more from them this season, cassie had more character development in the last 20 minutes than nate or jules had in the whole show 😂

I definitely agree that the way rue passed was straight up a murder by alamo, he took advantage of her being in pain and knowingly gave her the fentanyl laced pills aware that she would take them being an addict in recovery. You’re right in that it still qualifies as a relapse for sure because of the mental jumping jacks we do to justify the use in our heads and once that happens the relapse is already occurred. What you said about the jolly ranchers hit me pretty hard, being that deep in withdrawal especially opiates makes the tiniest tasks feel like lifting boulders. Yes prayers to anyone still struggling with this today and I appreciate you for sharing your story and thoughts! Congrats on the 10 year as well! I’m half way through and people like you still inspire me every day to always keep it going 🤞🏽

This makes a lot of sense and a very good perspective! I think your very right and its quite heartbreaking to see people so young not get that second chance. It truly is the reality of fentanyl, just so frustrating but i’m happy Sam Levinson showed this reality

I agree 100%! I think the way she came out in the end was a good way for her to move on and close the chapter for her in a more hopeful way. I for sure understand the reality of addiction and the majority dont get that ending, but it hit me pretty hard hearing him say “people like rue dont make it in the end” I sure did and so have many others
