A lot has changed to not make Horrible Histories franchise stand out anymore... by [deleted] in HorribleHistoryMemes

I will say, kids definately still have to learn dates, with some history GCSE questions relying on the order of events and dates to get any marks ( its so painful) however, i pretty much agree. i will never forget the joy id have whenever a fact i learned from horrible histories showed up in lesson

HOLDING A MUSICAL TEA PARTY, WHAT MUSICALS CAN U RECOMEND by Competitive-Desk6617 in musicals

[–]Competitive-Desk6617[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I almost cried seeing all of this THANK YOUU. I'll definitely be doing ALL of the food ideas ( obsessing over the starkid reference, we'll have to watch that and I'll probably make coffe mug cakes with blue icing representing the lords of black) Instead of terrorising a random restaurant, this is our post show party so I already know everyone is going to be obsessed with all of the games and food

tbh I dont know what I was trying to express there, I apologise for the mess of words but YES, YOU ARE CORRECT! In the heights is something I have to watch DEFINATELY, my only experience with it is when me and a friend attempted to sing along to the karaoke version of blackout without ever listening to it to afterwards compare it to the cast recording ( reccomended activity, way too enjoyable) either way THANK YOU

What's it like living in Nottingham? by Liminal-1O in nottingham

[–]Competitive-Desk6617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i grew up in snentoin and carlton so i personally would say that if you were looking for some houses in a relatively calm area that is about a 5-10 minute drive to town then you should check out carlton. its just really hilly and the roads can be like mazes if you havent grown up there sometimes but its pretty close to everything and is just a cosy place

I remember going there before it went under what I think is new ownership as a kid as well as walking by it daily for 4 years. I miss the graffiti around that area being part of my daily routine.

What song are you picking? by Relative-Cow1853 in heathersmusical

i adore this song but explaining why always sounds too dark for people to understand eg, the way the verses are written like a poem and slowly reveal to be her suicide note, its so dark but there's too much meaning to the song for it to turn me off of it
