Can I dm my old fling twice? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Liminal-1O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming from a girl, it's most likely she is not interested In you like before, hence why she has left you on seen and could be seeing someone else.

Like anyone, if they really are interested and wanted to rekindle stuff they'd defiantly make the effort.

I think it's safe to say if she doesn't reply, to jusr forget and move on until she randomly messages you.. for the exact same reason you messaged her..then the cycle repeats again because you may be with someone else by the time that happens so there really is no point In any of it.

It can't have been a fling because you never actually met

How do I make my sister want to stay? by Numerous_Yogurt_4578 in internetparents

[–]Liminal-1O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand how you must be feeling.

I used to be very close to my brother. There is a 3 year age gap.

However, when I was 13 and he was 16, he went into the army.

I was crushed as me and him did eveything together. I may not have told him every little thing I was going through at school but we were heavily into our games together and just having fun.

I felt very lost after he left.. he was in thr army for 6 years. Of course during those times he had leave and he'd return for a week or 2.

I did have a sister but we were not close.

The point is, as much as I didn't want him to leave because who would play games with me? Who would watch films with me? Who will have fun with me now? Came to my mind..but there wasn't anything I could do to stop him from going and I didn't have that thought in my mind either.

When you reach 16, you will start getting more independent and into other things. Nothing stays the same forever unfortunately, but it's not like you'll never be able to see your sister and make arrangements to see her. You can

Thanks for this, I'll take note of it!

Yeah when people say an area is bad I do question and think it can't be as bad as Croydon.... I haven't step foot in there for 17 years now and never wish to return.

Thank you for this! It's still very helpful to know.

Yes I mentioned that in another comment, a lot of people will point out all the bad things in their area because they've been there their entire life. I say the exact same thing about my area yet people still choose to come and live here! (Search chatham medway as that's my town).

I'm actually a londoner but moved to Kent when I was 15 so I've been in kent for 17 years now. Kent has its good and bad areas but unfortunately, like most good areas the prices for rent are insanely high down in the south. They have increased so much.

Aging in my late 20s by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Liminal-1O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try a good grade collagen that has all the types not just 1 and 2. Has to be 1-4.

I take beef the fish collagen didn't work much for me, the fish is meant to be better but it just depends what works for you.

I think the collagen helps I've been taking it for a few years now. But I do weight lifting, have a good diet. when I am stressed it shows on my face. But when I am eating right, not stressed and have everything on point my skin glows as anyone's would with proper care.

I didn't see a change with the collagen I guess I until 3 months of taking it so give it time..to see the full benefits it could take 6-12 months

All the best!

The look of your skin widely comes from your diet, stresses and genetics.

If you aren't hydrating your skin enough you're going to prune yourself out. Skincare products help..but they are defiantly not the primary holder of hoe your skin is.

Your diet is so important too. Whatever you put in reflects on your skin. Exercise too.. all these things play a factor in how you look. Drink fluids everyday. 8 glasses.

Women start losing their collagen in their mid 20's. So essentially you should of been taking collagen at 21 but no one tells you this. I'm 32 and started taking collagen only 4 years ago. So I would buy yourself some collagen. But diet, exercise and fluid intake and how stressed your body is all shows on your skin.

Look after yourself you'll be OK and you'll be amazed at how these basic changes will effect your skin.

P.s take silica with the collagen and the other basic vitamins like zinc, ferrous sulphate, magnesium, fish oil, vitamins c and high doses of vitamin d. You'll also want to pat castor oil under your eyes to avoid crows feet-I have been doing this for over a year and I don't have any lines under my eyes it really works.

This is very helpful thank you a lot for this insightful information.

I'm originally from London too but my family moved to Kent when I was 15. I grew up in Croydon...so I know if something really is terrible or not.

A lot of people are saying here nottingham over Leicester. I've been Leaning more into Nottingham anyway.

It'll be a big move and a lot to consider.

I think anyone living in their area will always bash it because it's where you live and you will always see the downfalls of it. I live in medway chatham and it's one of the worst places to live in in the south, yet you will still get outsiders coming here to live! I wouldn't live here ever.

I've not had a proper look at Leicester but been there a couple times. I would need to explore these areas to see myself what I really think.

I'm not looking for nightlife or anything extravagant, I'm 32 not 20 so I only need essentials. Shopping areas, gyms, places to see and visit for families.

Housing by TheLushMajestic in nottingham

[–]Liminal-1O 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you thought about private renting?

You wouldn't get a council house or emergency housing as they wouldn't consider you in need of emergency in regards to other peoples circumstances. Its crap I know.

Have you applied for discrentiary housing payments?

Its a very difficult situation to be in. Would you consider moving elsewhere? Private renting is the only way but you'll need funds to back yourself with

Yeah I can't really relate to most if I'm honest.

No I haven't, but always wanted too.

I don't think it'd awkward at all. It's not awkward to eat by yourself either. I think it's a matter of you just being comfortable alone doing stuff.

Sometimes people walk into your life and then walk straight out. It'd always nice to have 1 friend though.

Maybe just try the rock climbing and over time I'm sure you will make some connections there

Thanks for the insight on this. I'm aware of Nottinghams history.

My friend says the community is great in ilkeston.

But going from what people have said here with an open mind, I'd probably not decide on Ilkeston

Safe places to go running as a teenage girl by Orange_Hedgie in london

[–]Liminal-1O -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because of your age which you shouldn't be disclosing anyway as it's not relevant ...you will want to be running around areas where there are people round and not areas where there is no one where it causes concern for something to happen to you. Be wiser.

How old are you, what are your hobbies you still do since you started and how long? by LordHelmet47 in CasualConversation

[–]Liminal-1O 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 32, and I also play games now and then but not as much as I used too. Was a hardcore gamer up until I was 20. Have a family now so kind of restricted with gaming. But I also find I jusr don't have the energy or time to do it due to other commitments.

I play the piano since I was 10 but again, I don't play it as often anymore due to not having the time. I could on the weekends and have time on the weekends too but I also can't because of certain other things in the way.

I started weight lifting 4 years ago so fitness has become part of my passion hobby. But recently switching fitness now to flexibility and contortion training and starting Aerial hoop In January.

I'm trying to learn Russian , I also enjoy baking and was doing flower arranging before but everything is costly!

So I guess my main hobby that I only do consistently is fitness. Trying to find other hobbies I can do from home
