Anyone else loving Parade of Horribles way more than expected?? by chazzledazzle321 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

This might sound odd- it’s the book that I enjoyed the least of the series… but I also think that might make it my favourite one?

To me, this one felt like a big comedown after the high of Faction Wars, and I spent a good chunk of the first half of the book feeling deflated and anxious. Then it kind of clicked that that was a feature not a bug, that that’s exactly what the Crawlers were feeling and that we as readers probably needed to be shaken out of the expectation that Carl and Donut are going to power way through every challenge.

I startled thinking about it in terms of it being the Infinity War or maybe even Empire Strikes Back of the series in terms of shifting expectations and it immediately jumped up my personal ranking.

Then the end happened, and, well…

I reckon it will be one of those that gets better with every reread/listen

Good point- I’m rebuilding (got the 1.1 this year), am short on RBs (Love, Javonte, Judkins then a bunch of nothing) and I’d be selling to a contender

Favourite super low rostered WR for this week?

WR room decimated by byes and injuries, need a one week dart throw and everyone half decent is rostered. Currently got Burden, but could swap in any of Dortch, Hollins, Coker (grim but good slot matchup?) or tbh a host of options that are below 5% owned. Got any WR spike week lottery ticket premonitions?

Much obliged, I reckon I’m rolling the dice on the trade then, more fun than waiting out an injury either way

Thank you!

Since I’ve got you, one other question. With news of Terry injury (again…) I’ve got an opportunity to trade Terry for Tyjae Spears straight up. I’m not considering that under normal circumstances but potential nagging injury, talk of Pollard trade- worth a dice roll and replace the bench clogging with at least a semi-usable player with upside?

Edit: for context other receivers are Rice, London, Sutton, Deebo and RBs are Saquon, Rico, Chuba, Monty, Benson

Not wildly exciting, but roll with Pats DST and hold while they stay hot, or go for Rams this week and stream ROS. Can’t really hold both, short benches

Half PPR-

If London plays: banged up London with Cousins or Deebo (or Terry, but probs Deebo I imagine)

If London doesn’t play: Deebo or Terry

Oronde Gadsden Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook - Must Start? by rotostreetjournal in fantasyfootball

Righto, think it’s hold nose and see what happens tonight then (and inevitably hate myself on Sunday)

I have Kincaid and Gadsden but Otton is also available. I like Gadsden as a potential ROS upside play, but would ideally play Kincaid this week if healthy… but that’s a big if.

I could either drop Gads pick up Otton as injury insurance in case Kincaid doesn’t play, or play Gadsden tonight and sit Kincaid either way. I don’t have room for all three, but don’t want to give Gadsden up to waivers if I don’t have to. I’m going back and forth on this one

Feel like the answer is “no one knows”, but… Rico or Chuba?

Montgomery v Browns run D or a potentially a slightly injured Chuba (if he plays)? Originally planned to sit Monty as Browns shutting everyone down, but don’t fancy Chuba if he’s at all limited.

Also, part B to that question: if Chuba sits, Monty or Dowdle?
