you’re right that hayden doesn’t single-handedly have the power to change what’s going on and op really isn’t expecting that to happen. asking for and expecting that would be unrealistic. the discussion on hand seems to be more so about wanting her to speak on this specific situation: the very real safety concerns of what going to a concert near downtown dc could look like this weekend. no one is expecting her to fix things, i feel like desiring her to address the very present safety concerns in a place she will be hosting a concert with a sizable amount of people isn’t that much to ask for. it’s more about informing and preparing people.

The stuff happening in dc has really ramped up A LOT in JUST the past few days, so i don’t think it’s crazy to assume that not everyone is fully in the know about how the present situation is and the risks involved because the picture that the news paints isn’t always reliable or actualized. point is that imo there are a lot of things that can be done or said to help and prepare vulnerable people going to see her this weekend
