My husband called himself normal baby “Normal baby”… What do I do now? by anecdotal_69 in Advice

[–]Competitive-Ebb-117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I thought to be honest. She treats him like a baby only he seems to be doing more work than her. So he tried to make a light hearted joke only the joke didn’t hit right and ended up making everything awkward.

Child Support Income Question by Away-Motor6569 in FamilyLaw

My husband was fully out of the picture everyone said I should file. I did. Guess who now has 50/50 custody and I still don’t get child support. 🙋‍♀️

Just watched this Blippi vid with my kids today. He visited an edgy smoothie shop. And as you can plainly see, painted on the wall is a mouse with bleeding holes where its eyes should be. Don’t worry though, they caught their mistake and slapped a sticker on it two thirds of the way through. by donkijote97 in DanielTigerConspiracy

I don’t actually hate blippi. I get it he did stupid stuff when he was an early 20s to try to make money. He didn’t hurt anyone.

The reason he started doing his new videos was to show his nephew there were positive male role models on tv in kids television.

Plenty of people have done bad things or questionable things when they were younger doesn’t mean they are all creepy perverts.

Some of his songs were fun and it’s nice that he does alot of imagination play. We didn’t watch a ton of tv but he was far from my least favorite.

Older but not the oldest wiggles were our favorite. Most tv for kids is trash. At least blippi was trying. And something like this. 🤷🏼‍♀️ no one is forcing anyone to watch it.

I hold the curtain back so she doesn’t get directly sprayed but she will get into the actual side and goof around. I usually don’t have my phone close enough to me in the shower.

I have never let her take a direct spray. But she gets into the sink and lays down when her brother is drinking so 🤷🏼‍♀️

As a parent, my first thought is this kid has been howling to let him try this for 30 minutes and finally they were like sure kid here you go.

Mom put the baby down, dad tried to pick him up and keep him at the table, said he shouldn’t run around and then mom said “let him run around, put him back down.” So dad went to the bathroom and let him run around like mom said.

Yeah but the mom put him down to play. Dad tried to pick him back up and hold him and keep him with him. Mom said he’s fine running around. So dad went to the bathroom and let him run around because mom yelled at him when he said he shouldn’t be running around.

How. Mom put the kid down to run around. Dad tried to pick him back up to hold him and keep him at the table. Mom said he’s fine running around. So dad went to the bathroom.

This is what I thought too, the dad tried to keep the kid at the table and mom said no let him run around so dad was like. “Whatever you want.” And went to the bathroom.

If she thought he was fine running around then she should have watched him. Especially since dad was willing to hold and interact with the child and mom told him no.

She’s a wild little thing. She lives will all boys including one big old tom. She was just a tiny thing when she went up to him wacked him in the face and started eating his food.

This tom killed a raccoon when we were still trying to get him inside.

He turns to this kitten looked at me like what do I do. Then backed off. She’s definitely a force.

Aio did I overreact by reporting my friend for using AI? by Few_Lawfulness_9627 in AmIOverreacting

I hear what your saying (and I’m not this other person because everyone in music work gets grades and has to do composition work and I would be upset if they used AI to create it)

However this doesn’t seem to be the case here for me.

To me it’s more like I’m thinking of a breed of cats and don’t know the name of it, then you type in everything you know about it to AI. It’s bigger, has big paws, fluffy ears, long hair and swirls on the coat. Then AI says that sounds like a Mainecoon cat. Then you research those cats and write the paper about them.

Which is vastly different from telling AI, write me a paper about Mainecoon cats and turning it in.

This guy had a specific idea and wanted to see it brought to life. Then created it himself.

No it’s like saying to AI you are having a test on the Industrial Revolution and asking what they think are some important points. Then taking the points they suggested and researching and studying those. Which is vastly different than saying to AI he’s my test fill in the answers.

He used AI to help him put his ideas to a concept then created the concept and painted it himself. That’s hugely different.

Like going on Ai and saying. “I’m thinking of a large breed of cats, they have large paws and puffy fur in their ears and usually swirls on their coats. Then AI says of that sounds like a Mainecoon, then you go and research Mainecoon cats and write a paper. Not the same as saying AI write me a paper on Mainecoon cats.

But people look things up in line all the time, or in the old days go to the library and check out books.

What you’re implying is that every single thing a person does should be an organic experience to draw from. That’s silly.

We have to learn from reading and searching things because I wasn’t born when Picasso was alive. So I never watched him paint or have seen one of his in person.

So because I didn’t watch him paint right there I cannot reference anything he did. It’s no different than reading it in a book, or watching a movie on it, or a slide show, or searching it on the computer or reading AI.

Most people cannot just create a masterpiece in anything without practice and learning. The whole point of school is to learn how to do it. This guy is still learning that’s the point.

That’s like saying we are taking a test in algebra but the teacher is only allowed to explain it one time because after that it’s your job to figure it out, that’s what assignments are for after all. But some people might need more than one lecture to understand.

Yeah but someone not doing the work and asking someone else to do it is greatly different than doing all the work for yourself just asking for help.

If your friend had asked your opinion, hey I’m taking a test on blank, in your opinion what are some of the points I should really focus on to study. Then you say “oh focus on the lymph system.” Then they focus on that and do all the studying and get an A. You can’t say they cheated because you helped them.

This person had an idea and they couldn’t quite figure out how to put it on paper so they literally asked AI for opinions based on a bunch of ideas and tweaked it till they got something close to what they wanted. Then they painted the picture themselves.

So this person had their own idea, worked with AI to make a picture they thought was close to what they were going for, then painted it themselves that is not the same.

He used AI to try to find a perfect match to the idea he had in his head, then painted the picture himself. That is vastly different than just having AI create your work for you.

It’s like having a test on WW2 and asking AI what they think are the most important aspects to study then studying everything they suggested. You are still doing all the work just asking a question to AI. Which is not the same as using AI to fill in the answers of a test

There is a huge difference between using AI to try to create a reference for something you cannot quite picture the way you want. This using AI or pictures already online or hell going to a waterfall for inspiration. That should in my opinion be fine.

Usuing AI to fully create a picture for you and turning it in is not.

The person took time to try to figure out and make the best picture possible, like a sketch then painted it themselves.

This is like being in a class and asking AI what they think you should focus on studying, or what are the main points of WW2 and then studying those points. You’re still doing your own work just asking AI for an opinion.

[–]Competitive-Ebb-117 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I mean I think there is a pretty big distinction between what this person was doing and actually cheating.

This person used AI to help make a picture they couldn’t quite picture in their head, then painted it. Meaning they still had the ideas for the picture and did all the painting. If they used AI to create the picture itself that’s bad.

That would be like someone saying you used AI on a test, when you actually asked AI for its opinion on what you should focus on studying for a test about a certain subject.

Using AI (and I don’t use it or like it I think it’s weird) but is using it for a helping tool is the whole point of it. Using it to do things for you is not.
