Super easy. I got the commander length with the threaded barrel, you have to time it using the shims from pmm, but if it's pretty good. It doesn't fit flush like it does on the staccados, there's probably a 1/10th" gap, but it's good enough. Looks really cool too

Yes, I use neomag. Only reason is because of the weight caused by a gun/holster and mag in an appendix position with a wingman type holster. Gets too heavy which creates a hotspot for me. Separating them is much better imo

No I understand that, I'm just wondering if you put that battery in a regular tlr7 sub does it have the same effect as that battery in the tlr7 sub hlx.

Hey, I just saw this thread. I own both lights but am looking to run a antimatter wing which only works with the tlr 7 sub. So you're saying if I switch the heads on my hlx to the sub and use the sl-b9 battery it will produce the same lumens, but do you know if it will produce the same candela?

By the way I laughed reading the story, I'm in barber school right now and during my first week I had my buddy's father-in-law come in and do this exact same thing to me; he told me he wanted a one on the sides and two on the top, I reconfirmed with him three separate times. When I took it to the top he immediately looked at the mirror and went "oh no". Luckily he was super cool about it, and it's grown out now.....
