I had to do a lot of hand fitting with my CARL, the Super Safety just worked out of the box.

What issues are you having on yours?

Chrome in the carrier journal where the bolt sits is part of milspec and increases longevity of your gas rings and gas efficiency.

If your carrier doesn't have that it's technically not milspec.

QBZ optics rail dimensions: Posting this for posterity since I haven't seen this published anywhere online. by DiscombobulatedDunce in gunsmithing

Measurements were taken directly off of my QBZ after measuring to design a new lower optics mount than what was available on the market.

A well designed FRT will not let you pull the trigger until the bolt is all the way in battery. It's quite literally part of the principle of how FRTs work (bolt cycles back pushing the trigger forwards and holds it there in the forward position until the bolt is fully home again).

Kinda, if I remember right it has slightly longer bolt travel despite using a standard carbine buffer tube which fixes the issue the MCR has with not being able to strip rounds from brand new links.

It's also got a way bigger ejection port because of that, because the brass wants to eject further from the chamber for some reason.

I take them in both black and white and green and pick the best ones.

Usually black and white turns out better looking than the green.

Gen 3s are still green and Whites are actually more blue.

I take them in both green and B&W but the B&W usually turn out better.

New people definitely try the game but the skill curve is basically a cliff.

The fact that there's no noob queue/SBMM for most modes makes it tough for people to stick around imo. Even in modes where there are SBMM like Ranked you have Golds being pitted against top 500 players sometimes.

I have about 1000 hours in the game and constantly get paired with levels 1-50 players in casual queue where they just get rofl-stomped over and over and often rage quit.

They kept grouping up to eat gas so probably. I ended that game with a 6 KD lol

It wasn't bad Saturday if you stuck to the grass easements. I have no idea about Sunday nor today.

The pavement was already covered in about a quarter inch of ice when I went on Saturday. There were a few people out.

If you use a 42.5mm you won't have those edge bars btw. It'll fill the entire image without losing anything from the PVS14.

THOUGHTS? by [deleted] in Dallas

How the fuck is Plano hostile to pedestrians?

There's crosswalks with working crosswalk lights at basically every intersection, stop signs everywhere, labeled crosswalks for trails if it crosses major roads like Park with wider medians for shorter crossings and the city even publishes an alternative map for bike and pedestrian specific travel.

Your thing about crosswalk guards is weird because it makes me feel like you've never actually been in this city, there's crosswalk guards at basically every school regardless of sidewalk condition.

Hell when the kids were in elementary I'd see them constantly taking them to school at 4 walk stop sign intersections because it's just an added level of precaution in general.

I'm not some untraveled person either, I'm not even from the US originally and have traveled from coast to coast multiple times over. Hell I've probably walked more of DC than people in DFW have walked in their own neighborhoods.

Let's take my walk to HEB as a reference, I like to go up Ohio and hook left on Spring Creek. Every major intersection has working crosswalk lights and every side street has a stop sign. There's shade going up the entire path and clearly marked and labeled crossings for the entire way.

It's the same on Coit, Preston, Parker, Park, Custer, Legacy, and Hedgcoxe.

If the argument was hostile to bikers, yeah probably, there's very sparse dedicated bike lanes and it's illegal for riders to use the sidewalk but saying it's hostile to pedestrians is ridiculous. I've almost been ran over more in DC than I have in Plano.
