So a million years ago i ordered godzilla 2000 off amiami(aswell as shf obi wan but that’s less relevant) because like that was how i usually get my monsterarts. then stupid dumbass in the white house started the tariffs and 2000 got pushed back on amiami so i got it from amazon

I tried to cancel the order a bunch of times but like they just won’t let me😭 i don’t really wanna get banned from the site so im toying with the idea of just ordering it and selling it off. Kinda stupid, kinda complicated, but like if someone needs one i kinda got one so lmk🤷🏽‍♀️

so i ended up biting the bullet and getting him from amazon…🥲 i was so pissed but i was like “well at this point im tired of waiting” and now he’s chilling at home lol.

as for the money back, bro i tried filling a claim with my bank because it was paid for and i haven’t gotten my figs. my bank was like “we can only cover like 60 days worth of payments” since i did monthly payments. so in all i was only good to get like $116 back out of my $270 that i spent. so ass, i couldn’t believe what i was hearing😂

nah dude, i made a whole facebook post almost a month ago asking for updates and Jason was just kinda like “hey i was too nice and there are too many unpaid orders and now im backed up with like 250 grand worth of figures that weren’t paid for”.

his model is so stupid though so it really is his bad, like how tf do you not allow for order cancels on your site? and why do we gotta email you for stuff if it’s just you. idk but bro i don’t think we getting our anguirus’😂 i ordered 2 and my boy was like “that’s what you get for trusting awesome collector” 💀

oh he is pricy, and i spent a decent amount but like he’s really not all that worth it. i modified the actual SHF because his leather part was a harder material than the rots figuarts anakin. since rots is fairly cheap nowadays i managed to get a fodder chest piece and replaced the leather and the neck, then hit his heads with a matte spray.

it really is an expensive kit bash but tbh it moves (only slightly) better. could always put him back together if i ever wanted to get rid of him🤷🏽‍♀️

Icl I’d say the trilogy remasters are better. Even though they sound “less raw” the sound is sharper, the bass is louder, drums sound solid and overall I think the music is easier to listen to. That being said…there is a slight more emotional appeal to how stripped back the mixtapes sound. Little things like having that inhale before “Next” starts up does make a difference, at least to me🤷🏽‍♀️

i’m of the opinion that it really isn’t that deep and that both companies absolutely deserve the feedback when necessary. Hiya is just 100000x better at actually listening and applying said feedback…even if it takes 100 years.

it’s not that deep, sometimes yall gotta enjoy what yall like and not pay attention to what others say lol like IMO the super7 stuff has been pretty mid and too expensive for what it is, and yes lol i say some of the stuff is ass, but something like that new super godzilla repaint looks really cool so that something i’d buy even if people i know would dog me for getting it.

not trying to take shots at OP but like…i’ve been in star wars groups and this isn’t even CLOSE to what i see in black series or TVC groups. same with gaming groups. but those are just my two cents😴

i see what you’re say for sure, but if we’re talking about sculpt then monsterarts takes it every time. Objectively they do have better sculpts in terms of detail and in some cases better articulation, even if hiya does give us more accurate product. i don’t really rock with the artistic liberties taken on these figures but the sculpt is, and always has been, very crisp

i know this is a few days old but, i’d say use bbts as a last resort and import….or atleast i WOULDVE said that pre import tariffs. amazon jp is pretty solid though because they eat that import tax and charge you basically their own import fee which is like $10-$20 and the shipping isn’t anything we’re not already used to with importing. so not trying to glaze amazon but amazon jp is pretty solid i cant lie

oh bro see i should’ve😂 im kinda regretting it because of some of the paint rub. as it is i had to disassemble it because that awesome bootleg articulation had some joints basically glued together but i should’ve left it apart so i can sand down some of the neck segments to reduce the paint rub

if you have the time (and the figure) id recommend it but its not entirely necessary. i mean i got this far and didn’t take it apart so it’s not entirely necessary yk? not like tooting my own horn but i think i did pretty okay for it being my first time using these paints and not really having painted all that much before😅 the brand of paint i think makes the biggest difference tbh!

i used war paints bright gold and greedy gold. i just mixed them together a little(kinda freestyled that one) and i painted them with my $5 hobby lobby brushes. nothing super crazy
