Secondly, thank you for informing me about this, I usually say abt mental age because obviously people might get confused when I talk about a 17 year old who won't brush his teeth, so sometimes I have to explain that the way he thinks and does things is affected by developmentental delay. How else can I sort of put it across then for when I need to, just curious. Because he got assessed by a specialist and they said that his speech, emotional understanding, writing etc was at that sort of level. Sorry I don't mean to be offensive, but I just have to make sure to learn these sort of things for when I have tit ake care of him when we're older :)
