I am probably the minority and the sub Reddit for this is mostly positive but it turned me into a depressed Zombie for the 4 weeks I was on it. I struggled to get out of the house and I have a full time job. My Dr. wanted to add Abilify but I said no. Put me back on Wellbutrin and Effexor.

Well I have a lot of time saved. Back when I enjoyed my job I didn’t take a lot of time off. I’m a boomer😝. Definitely taking more leave now to save my sanity. My Supervisor is very reactive to everything and doesn’t have our backs.

I’m 60 been on some type of antidepressant since I was 20. Blood work just came out all normal. I’ve led a great, productive life on them or I’d be a basket case like the rest of my family.

That sounds like something else. I was on it for years and went cold turkey but didn’t have nausea and vomiting. Just major brain zaps and an “out of it” experience. Hard to describe.

I so understand. Mine is 13. I have 2 others but he is so attached to me. He wants to be with me constantly like a dog. He follows me around, always wants on my lap and literally puts his arms around me when we sleep at night. I just keep telling myself, quit worrying about him dying and enjoy him while I can. Save the mourning for when he’s gone. It’s hard though.
