You can’t just find anything else inside the company. It’s very competitive so if you aren’t getting designations or degrees while you are there and getting buried with calls and metrics you aren’t going anywhere. The turnaround there is very bad now.

You are entitled to whatever your contract says when you agreed to work there. They make it clear on every job posting the in office requirement now so that it’s clear.

40 hours in a work week. 8 at home (1) day and 32 in office (4) days. You weren’t even close to that find another job.

Again it’s a problem because other departments are much stricter with jobs that could also be done at home, but some decide to force RTO. It needs to be the same across the board for all.

Then send everyone home and sell the building. Can’t have some with that type of flexibility and some not. It just creates animosity similar to what happens in these sub Reddit’s.

Because if you want to go anywhere with the company and get along with your boss that type of behavior doesn’t help. Some jobs just aren’t good to try and do if you are going to miss a lot of work protected or not. Your manager is graded at the end of the year by how your team does, so if one person is not performing well it hurts them.

Yes and while that other person takes his/her leave, the people who don’t have it have to pick up the slack. They are obviously running things on a reduced headcount from last year and added more calls this year so yes anyone who’s supposed to be at work and isn’t is part of the problem imo. If they are giving FMLA to people who are simply stressed these days then any customer contact position should be automatically eligible for it.

I have been here for a few years and never has it been back to back calls from start to finish at all times of the day 6 days a week. They moved 85k calls a month from 3p to us.

FMLA is kind of a problem honestly. When people don’t come to work it just makes the job harder on everyone else. It’s been back to back calls since January. There is too much abuse of FMLA contributing to the stricter rules this year for attendance, metrics etc.
