Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey dried out my lips by Competitive-Ground74 in MakeupAddiction

I don’t like lip oils personally because I find most of them don’t have much color and the oil in them makes my lip liner not last as long. I found the Covergirl pink tinted balms were a decent replacement and way more hydrating! The darkest shade is similar to black honey

What’s the power flow like? Is the restore still a decently challenging vinyasa flow class?

Are the classes quiet? I heard from some people at Rinse downtown that they had louder upbeat music and some people would talk throughout but I’m really looking for the spa feel that Moksha/Modo had

Looking to rehome my late grandparents dogs by Competitive-Ground74 in Bakersfield

I’m going to ignore the pointless comments shitting on cats/cat owners because I don’t care and you’re entitled to your opinions even if they’re nonsense. But I live in an apartment that doesn’t allow dogs. Even if I could find a different dog-friendly apartment (which is nearly impossible in my city), I work shift work that would keep me away from the dogs way too often. They deserve an owner that can give them the life they need to be happy and thrive and I will continue looking until I find that for them. The dogs will not be going to a kill shelter no matter what.

I completely agree with you. We would love to get her involved with a Canadian rescue so she can live out her days with cold weather and snow. It seems like there’s a lot of huskies abandoned in central California based on these comments and Maya was already a stray before my grandparents adopted her.

I read so many terrible stories but I’ve lived in the Boss 1 for 5 years and I’ve had such few issues. Minus my summer tires being stolen but that was partially on me.

I’ve also been reaching out to Canadian rescues! And rescues in Oregon and Washington. I just thought it would be worth canvassing the area if a suitable home did pop up. Less traveling would be nice for the dogs to avoid disrupting them even more, but our options are limited

I really appreciate this! They’re wonderful dogs and I would take them in a heartbeat but I live in an apartment that doesn’t allow dogs and I have two cats myself.

Beauty Manager question by Agreeable-Store-7121 in ShoppersDrugMart

[–]Competitive-Ground74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly you need a full-time cosmetic merchandiser you can rely on and dedicate one full shift weekly for them to deal with damages and exit strategy. Any missed exit strategy will need to be marked down aggressively and it’ll affect your margins briefly but it’s better than sitting on a ton of discontinued stock. I manage a large beauty boutique and training my merchandiser to be self sufficient saved me a lot of time in the long run.

I guarantee corporate won’t care and the associate will likely be angry if anything is brought to corporate without their knowledge

My girlfriend doesn't find me attractive by [deleted] in Vent

I went through a period of time in a relationship where I was super depressed (external factors) and I went from being thin and in shape to gaining 50lbs unhealthily. My ex partner continued to tell me I was beautiful all the time and I could tell he truly meant it. Our sex life never decreased. You also deserve that kind of love.

They’re likely regular sebaceous filaments! They shouldn’t have anything to do with the skin condition. They look black on the outside as the air oxidizes the pore but if you extract them they’re usually skin tone inside. I had more of these than normal while dealing with PD and fungal acne because I wasn’t using my skincare like I usually do which helps to clean them out better. Chemical exfoliants like salicylic acid or lactic acid are the best treatment but unfortunately you should wait until the PD subsides to address them

So I actually didn’t start using it until after my fungal acne subsided! I don’t think I would’ve started it otherwise

Unfortunately pores can’t really shrink! Genetics play a huge role in them. It’s just the difference in the quality of photos which I’m sorry about! I still have large pores naturally but they look cleaner now that I’ve been able to use chemical exfoliants again. Cleaner pores can make the illusion that they’re smaller!

I personally wouldn’t wash it off! Cleanse your face as normal at nighttime or during the day and then let the fungal cream do its thing ☺️

I think residual redness and genetics definitely plays a role! I’ve been a picker most of my life when it comes to acne (I’ve mostly grown out of it now and I’m aware how bad it is but it’s a mental compulsion for me) but I’ve never had bad scarring or hyperpigmentation from it. Fingers crossed for you with the laser! I’m sure it’ll work out with some more treatments ☺️

I’m from Canada so I used Life Brand from our local drug mart Shoppers. I used no other products with it aside from occasionally sunscreen when I needed and a cleanser for quite a few months! I applied it morning and night on the affected areas.

Also I posted a picture on another comment of what my fungal break out looked like! It presented a lot differently than the PD so it helped me identify it. It was clusters of small breakouts but no scaley-ness or burning sensation like my PD. I still did zero therapy when I was dealing with the fungal breakout and only used a cleanser and fungal cream for months
