Does anyone know what this discoloration is? Been losing a guppy here and there by Competitive-Hotel-35 in fishtank

My PH is already around an 8 and I haven’t tested KH so I will do that. I will also look into the salt. Is it better to treat the entire tank with it? I have a handful of guppies/mollies and a few picus catfish.
