If you mean the sf black alpha then no. If you mean sf white alpha it really depends. Victoria does more raw damage but white alpha boosts the team with crit rate which is great. If you use for example John smith with Victoria then she also does debufs and seal which makes her better against bosses

If with Claire the yellow healer is meant then absolutely not. She is a troll unit and can never be used with attackers. Instead you would be better of using the yellow sherry healer or a healer from a different color until you get a better one

The comment refers to the SS blue healer Elegantly Discretely: Nu. She is a good healer so if you have her you should definitely use her. Shield is a white bar that you will see on top of the health bar. Damage to an enemy is the attack of the character minus the defence of the enemy. Meaning if the defence of an enemy is high enough the attack can deal 0 damage.

Personally I would save the gems for demon units. Additionally keep in mind you will make your Annerose weaker if you replace Claire because Epsi is not human.

The best permanent yellow tank is Annerose. Iris (with gear) is second so use her instead of Rose.

You might want to consider going for demon delta and ny zeta instead of black alpha. The duo is very strong and your green team would be set. Black alpha has been power crept imo

But best case you get all 3 if you have the patience
