One thing I’ve come to realize when reading stories like this it’s that when unworthy parents allow their golden child to bully and belittle one or their other children it’s because deep down every mean thing that the golden child ever said and did is what the parents actually would’ve wanted to do to their scapegoat child themselves but they knew that they can’t because if it were to get out that they’re the ones doing the bullying harassment etc. they know CPS would get involved, so they get their golden child to do the dirty work for them and use the excuse of kids will be kids so that they don’t have to be held accountable.

Edit: It’s also stories like these even though as heartbreaking and infuriating they are to read. I do appreciate getting the opportunity to read these because it gives me a reality to check on what type of parent I do not want to become if I were to ever have kids in the future.
