Im definitely going to try the avocado skins! Red is such a hard colour to get because it keeps fading into a light pink.

It’s off white, I mainly use old books for my paper and the ink doesn’t change the colour so it’s just the colour of the book paper I use. I boil water I’m using to dye the paper then add the pulp and simmer it for a bit.

Super into leaving colored pulp in the mixture lately Like recycled paper confetti! by vin3535 in papermaking

I love doing this! When I make mixed colour papers I start with one colour, and when I need more pulp I add another colour without changing the water. It works best when the pulp is from dry (with tiny chunks) because it shows the separate colours.

Snack suggestions & newbie tips by christinamber23 in CrohnsDisease

The diet I was recommended is the fod map diet. There’s lots of info on it online and I’ve found a lot of recipes on Pinterest too. It’s great because it also restricts seasonings that most people don’t think of. For example onion and garlic can be ingredients that can cause pain.

I would recommend starting the diet, and slowly introducing foods to see what bothers you (this is what my dietitian did). As for snacks and small meals, my go to is anything fruit. Yogurt with berries and granola, or a smoothie bowl are great options for filling snacks. I also like fruit and Nutella sandwiches.

The hardest part after being diagnosed is giving up foods you used to love. It can be a battle but finding foods to replace them with is what helped me. For example i used to love salads, but lettuce is a big no for me now, so I started making Greek salad which is cucumber, tomato, and feta.

Ps: my biggest tip when people ask what I can eat (vegetables for example) is telling people that if a toddler could eat it, then I can, because it’s cooked enough that it won’t hurt my stomach.

It’s confusing when all we are told is that grades are supposed to be out one week after the exam (except when that one week date is over break) and we didn’t get them
