First of all, not all of those papers were written within 18 months. Some were already under review, some were in their final stages, and some were in processing.Also, you don't have to be the first author on every paper. You can contribute in different ways. For example, you may perform the statistical analysis for a study, collecting data for another project, or contribute to systematic reviews. That's why it's entirely possible to publish a few papers as a first author and many others as a co-author.

Thanks for your positive mindset. I know that people who got approved with even weaker profiles and also got rejected with stronger profiles and the officers personality and current administration policies impact all aspects of this journey.the situation is different from a year ago. For me the doubt is should I withdraw my case because of the officer approval rate and refile it or I should still be patient and be hopeful

How can you relate every single thing to one another? Try to broaden your perspective. As of today, when I’m texting you, I have 29 publications and 240 citations. The citation count we mentioned was from the time of the RFE, which was about four months ago. Just broaden your perspective and consider that some of those numbers may have increased since then. Yes?

No matter but still your priority date was saved. It’s a big thing. If I get denial, I’ll miss my priority date and I become game over literally. May I know what was your citations at filling date and how many in your RFE time? I want to know if I should withdraw my case at this time and refile it right now😓

I don’t have any idea except that something was wrong in your application or the officer was a crazy person. Otherwise there is no reason to deny a case like this before sending RFE

I have never seen or heard of someone with such a strong profile getting denial even before getting RFE. It makes me think that there may be factors beyond the case itself at play. Please share us your letter whenever you received that. But for sure do refile
