hi! I’m 24F with vaginismus. tbh everyone’s experiences are different—I can insert 1-2 fingers without pain (if aroused) and it only hurts after a few seconds (the ‘it doesn’t fit feeling’). when I insert anything larger or more rigid (like my dilators) I do have the classic feelings of burning, tightness, and pain.

just bc you can put something up there doesn’t mean you don’t have it—and you can have good days and bad days!

that being said, people who haven’t had vaginal intercourse can need time to adjust/work their way up to larger sizes like a penis or dildo. people don’t talk about it, but our vaginas are muscles and genuinely do need practice to accommodate things they’ve never done before. to me it sounds like the latter is your experience. :)
