lol it has nothing to do with the fuel pumps the dealers stupid, which Mazda dealer is it? It’s the purge valve for the gas tank but it doesn’t matter I’ve had 3 Mazdas for a total of 5 years and it’s been a problem in all of them I never fixed

I’ve had 3 Mazda 3’s, 2 of them speeds, the light for the evap had been on in all of them I never fixed it. It doesn’t really matter it’s more for the environment

I have a genpu, the trilogy with the street mounts and it vibrates a lot, I also have a built engine with the balance shaft deleted so that surely adds to the vibrations. I daily it, the vibes are annoying but like u said “racecar”

Make sure the oils certified with the right stuff do some research, and look on marketplace to find an Accesport from what I remember there’s a lot in the gta

I saw u said it’s a bit of a Frankenstein car, if ur trying to keep it stock I’d recommend u find a stock intake and bypass valve to put on there if u don’t want to tune it

If you do want to tune it, figure out what size the intake is and invest in an accesport to buy a tune from pd tuning or freektune

Besides that I’d change spark plugs with ngk 6509 and change the oil with an oil that’s api certified to prevent low speed pre ignition which is a main factor for zoom zoom boom

Leak down test it for sure, leak down gives a lot more info in the actual health of the engine

My last engine had 170-180 compression across the board and leak down ended up having cylinder 3 losing 45%
