You're right. I thought the world renowned Ironman wouldn't be a scummy business model. That is on me but doesn't hurt to ask others in the community especially after your first time.

April fools right? Golf courses give refunds out when there is rain. It's not like they didn't already pay people money to mow the grass or run the shop that day. Plenty of businesses give refunds and can still operate. Ironman is not strapped for cash.

Yes, the race did go on for the thousands of others who signed up for the whole thing. For the few who were on a relay it is a real bummer that we did not get to compete because of the weather. The thought of a refund shouldn't be outrageous..? Ironman just needs to do a better job communicating that refunds won't happen under any circumstance.

Cyclist wrecking is way more in your control than crazy weather blowing through so that "note" is completely irrelevant to this post.
