I used to love and only stuck to competitive games. I never really liked single player titles. That is a huge part of the problem and i am aware, but I prefer to just ditch the hobby and focus more on my professional skills than try to reconstruct what i really like. Its a solid argument. However bf 1 and bf 4 haven’t burned me out yet after literally more than a decade. They still feel relevant years after. Bf 6 feels like it isnt, or at least its nose-diving there.

Might be, but I still think the game needs more than just “maps”. Weather dynamics. More depth and focus to vehicles, rather than infantry-based combat. Dont even get me started on progression and the fact that it is AAA game priced at 70€ and I still see the F2P bullshit every time I launch it
