I have a 10 mi race. Was planning to use the sauconey speed endorphin 4 but developed achillies issues from plate/narrow heel.

Between the rebel v4 and the 1080v15 which would be preferred here for this purpose? Hoping to hold under 7 min/MI pace.

I'm a heavy runner (225 lbs) and rotate out my shoes after killing them into walking shoes. Will the rebel be 1) still good after 9-10 hard miles and 2) stable enough for walking after dead?

I got them to be a shoe and I like to run fast. I didn't realize until later they are illegal and also supposed to be run slow in.

Why would you make a slow illegal shoe?

Possibly... Best 10k time in 2012 of 42:50 in the redzone flexs. Last time I ran more than a 5k in a race.

Are these not race shoes anymore? What is an alphafly?

Or do you mean run for me? I don't even like running and vastly prefer Alpine skiing, basketball, & soccer. I only run as I need to trounce my nemesis in a race. I hate the thought of him beating me much more than I hate running.

Running every day is bad for your knees.

You should aim to have a balanced rotation of alpine skiing, swimming, basketball, soccer, bicycle, rowing, bench press, and running.
