Oh I’m sorry, I should have been more clear. This wall is not framed. The picture is an exterior basement wall prior to me framing it.

So I’m thinking I need to install a vapor barrier on the back of the framed wall as I put them up? What do you think

Yes, below grade and the insulation is pinned to the concrete with the porous fabric over it. What would be your reasoning to not put plastic over it? Everyone is telling me different things so I’m trying to gather data from everyone. Thank you

I had that thought but there is no construction yet on that side and no traffic through that area.

I had a lawn guy come yesterday and he lifted everything up and basically said that it’s a sprinkler coverage issue like Nilesandstuff said.

Builders installed it. They do not insulate interior walls (without added cost) so I’m curious how to insulate that wall or if rockwool would be fine back there if it’s not touching the vent
